Regular Board Meeting

Tuesday, January 2, 2007                    7:30 PM       Princeville Village Hall

The Village Board met at the above time and place.
The meeting was called to order by President Stahl at 7:30 PM with the following members answering roll call; Sutherland, Rasmussen, Koller, Barrington and Knapp. A quorum was present for the meeting. Trustee Troutman was absent. Notice of the meeting and the agenda was sent and received in a timely manner. Staff present was Village Clerk Rasmussen, Sec/Treas Hofer and Deputy Breitbarth.

Police report: Deputy Breitbarth reported that there had been a (mailbox) Criminal damage to property, Two Domestic batteries with one arrest resulting, an Arrest of a battery suspect, a Motor vehicle accident, three ambulance calls, and an unlocked vehicle found at the Verizon service center, and an arrest of the provider of a teen drinking party.

Minutes as published: Motion by Barrington and a second by Koller to approve the December 06 minutes of the Regular and Special Board meetings as published. Voice vote. All ayes. No nays. Motion passed.

Treasurer’s report: Postponed until the January 16. Meeting. Motion by Koller and a second by Rasmussen to table the report until the next meeting. Voice vote. All ayes. No nays. Motion passed.

Paying of bills: Motion by Rasmussen with a second by Koller to pay the bills presented and place on file. Roll call vote. Sutherland, Rasmussen, Koller, Barrington and Knapp all voting aye. No nays. Motion passed.

Stop Sign: Motion by Koller with a second by Sutherland to place a 4-way Stop sign at the cross streets intersection for the purpose accident prevention, in Brockway Hills subdivision. Roll call vote. Sutherland, Rasmussen, Koller, Barrington and Knapp all voting aye. No nays. Motion passed.

Maintenance building expansion: Motion by Rasmussen with a second by Knapp to proceed with the plan to expand the maintenance garage building by asking for a zoning variance needed, proceed with obtaining a cost estimate, and building specifications. Voice vote. All ayes. No nays. Motion passed.

Committee reports: Property committee will meet January 15. @ 4:30 PM, TIF committee will meet January 5. @ 4:00 PM; License committee to meet January 15. On gaming issues.

Building permits:        none

Bruner, Cooper & Zook, engineers, are attempting to verify property lines on 100 block E. Main St.

Supt. of Public Works:  no report.

Other business:  A Park district information meeting will be at 1:00 PM on March 1st. 2007.   Presented by the State of Illinois and are informational ONLY, Area property owners please to attend. The place will be forth coming in an announcement.

Adjournment: Motion by Knapp with a second by Koller to adjourn the meeting. Voice vote all ayes. No nays Motion passed. The meeting was adjourned by President Stahl at 8:50 PM.
