Minutes of the Regular Meeting
Monday October 2, 2006 7:30 PM Princeville Village Hall
The Village Board met at the above time and place.
The meeting was called to order by President Stahl, at 7:30 PM with the following members answering roll call; Sutherland, Rasmussen, Troutman, Barrington and Knapp being present. Trustee Koller was absent. A quorum was present for the meeting. Notice of the meeting and the agenda were sent and received in a timely manner. Staff present was Village Clerk Rasmussen, Supt. Of Public Works Gardner, Sec./Treas. Hofer and Deputy Breitbarth.
Police report:
Report of speeding vehicles on Town Ave. was unfounded at the ties checked.
Minutes approved as published:
Motion by Troutman to approve the minutes of the September meeting as published, Seconded by Barrington. Voice vote. All ayes. No nays. Motion passed.
Treasurers report:
Motion by Rasmussen and second by Sutherland to approve the treasurer’s report as presented and place on file. Voice vote. All ayes. No nays. Motion passed.
Paying of the bills:
Motion by Barrington with a second by Knapp to pay the bills as presented. Roll call vote. Sutherland, Rasmussen, Troutman Barrington and Knapp all voting aye. No nays. Motion passed . Koller absent.
Approval of the finance report ending April 30, 2006.:
Motion by Sutherland with a second by Troutman to approve the finance report . Roll call vote. Sutherland, Rasmussen, Troutman, Barrington and Knapp all voting aye. No nays. Motion passed. Koller was absent.
Approve finance report for publication:
The treasurers finance report will be published in the Tri-County News.
Committee reports:
Pool committee, Cracks will be filled this fall and sand blasting and painting will be done in the spring. The diving board will be removing and stored indoors for the winter.
Property committee, Village attorney L. Judd will contact the prosecuting attorney to take care of the junk and abandon car problem. The swimming pool ordinance is to be sent to the Village on Oct.6, 2006, for their viewing. The burning ordinance amendment is in the process at this time. The property committee has a positive attitude meeting scheduled with Jeff O’Kane.
Building permit:

Supt of Public Works:
South St. sewer is to be cleaned out this coming week. The water valve in the street at S. Santa Fe and Lincoln was replaced in an overnight repair, to keep from shutting down the canning factory operation. A water leak at Woertz Road and Larson Lane has been completed. The rest rooms in Cutters Grove have been repaired from vandalism to the fixtures and piping.
