Minutes of the Regular Meeting
Monday, November 5, 2007 7:30 PM Princeville Village Hall
The Village Board met at the above time and place.
The meeting was called to order by President Stahl, at 7:30 PM with the following members answering roll call; Sutherland, Rasmussen, Troutman, Koller, Barrington and Knapp being present. A quorum was present for the meeting. Notice of the meeting and the agenda were sent and received in a timely manner. Other staff present was Village Clerk Rasmussen, Supt. of Public Works Gardner, Sec. /Treas. Hofer and Deputy Breitbarth.
Police report: Report of a Hit and Run occurred; A Village owned truck caught fire and burnt up is being investigated.
Minutes approved as published: Motion by Barrington to approve the minutes of the October meeting as published, Seconded by Knapp. Voice vote. All ayes. No nays. Motion passed.
Treasurers report: Motion by Sutherland and second by Koller to approve the treasurer’s report as presented and place on file. Voice vote. All ayes. No nays. Motion passed.
Paying of the bills: Motion by Knapp with a second by Rasmussen to pay the bills as presented. Roll call vote. Sutherland, Rasmussen, Troutman Koller, Barrington and Knapp all voting aye. No nays. Motion passed. Lopez Construction added on for $1184.00 was included.
Truth in Taxation Law Compliance: Motion by Barrington with a second by Koller, to approve the 2007 - 2008 Truth in taxation requirement. Roll call vote. Sutherland, Rasmussen, Troutman, Koller, Barrington and Knapp all voting aye. No nays. Motion passed.
Committee reports: TIF Revitalization payment to Princeville Tap (Restaurant) in the amount of $1422.53, Motion by Rasmussen and a second by Koller. Roll call vote. Sutherland, Rasmussen, Troutman, Koller, Barrington and Knapp all voting aye. No nays. Motion passed. An application for D&L Auto Parts has been sent to the TIF attorneys for approval.
Pool committee; an advisory committee is being looked at to assist in the operation of the swimming pool for next year. A TV camera check of the water lines revealed nothing in the way of leaks.
License committee is looking at a new fee structure and a revised Animal Ordinance.
Building permits: None
Supt of Public Works: The 100 - 200 & 300 blocks of Town Ave. and the 200 & 300 blocks of East High St are being looked at for Curb, Gutter, Storm sewers and Sidewalks are being considered for next year and engineering estimates will be coming.
A replacement pick-up truck to replace the one burnt up will be coming at the next meeting.
Other business: Media Com Communications lease agreement was tabled due to lack of necessary information.
Adjournment: Motion by Koller and second by Troutman to adjourn the meeting.
