Regular Board Meeting

Tuesday, November 20, 2007           7:30 PM          Princeville Village Hall

The Village Board met at the above time and place.
The meeting was called to order by President Stahl at 7:30 PM with the following Trustees answering present; Sutherland, Rasmussen, Troutman, Koller, Barrington and Knapp. A quorum was present for the meeting. Others present were Village Clerk Rasmussen, Sec. /Treas. Hofer and Police officer Breitbarth. Notice of the meeting and the Agenda were sent and received in a timely manner.

Police report: A Motor Vehicle Accident on Santa Fe Ave.; an Arrest for Theft and DUI occurred.

Christmas advertisement: representative of the Tri County News was at the meeting selling Xmas ads.
Motion by Barrington and second by Sutherland to approve $199.00 for the Christmas adds. Roll call vote. Sutherland, Rasmussen, Troutman, Koller, Barrington and Knapp all voting aye. Nonays. Motion passed.

Woertz Road tree trimming: Don Stahl asked the board to look into trimming the trees back away from the corner on East Woertz Road at the bridge and north, to enable school buses to be able to see around the corner and be able to view oncoming traffic. The public works department is to take care of this problem.

School TIF I reimbursement: Motion by Rasmussen and second by Barrington to pay the school district $119,836.75 upon receipt and review by the Village Board, of a list of capitol expenditures from the School District, in accordance to the intergovernmental agreement with the Village of Princeville.
Roll call vote. Sutherland, Rasmussen, Koller, Barrington and Knapp all voting aye. No nays. Motion passed. Troutman abstained.

School district request for the Village to provide $775.00 for a news letter: Motion by Rasmussen and a second by Koller to deny the request to pay for a news letter and not to participate in the program.
Voice vote. All Ayes. No nays. Motion passed.

2008 Street improvements: BCZ engineering estimates for High St Town to Cordis $547,600.00; Town Ave  Main to North Ave $456,400.00; with 10% engineering fees; and 400 W Evans St for drainage and curbs $43.000.00 - 48,000.00 Time and Material cost.  No action taken.

Committee report: TIF Revitalization was completed  by Clark Oltman  and D&L Auto Parts. Motion by Rasmussen and a second by Knapp to approve payment to Clark Oltman for $1259.39. Roll call vote. Sutherland, Rasmussen, Koller, Barrington and Knapp all voting aye. No nays. Motion passed. Motion by Rasmussen and second by Knapp to approve payment of $5066.18 . Roll call vote. Sutherland, Rasmussen, Koller, Barrington and Knapp all voting aye. No nays. Motion passed. Troutman abstained on both votes.
Pool Committee will meet at 6PM Dec. 3rd. At the Village Hall.
Personal committee will give a report at the Dec. 3rd. Meeting.

Other business:  Survey/Platt approval: Larry Martin request plat of NW corner of Town Ave and Mendenhall Rd. approval. Motion by Barrington and second by Troutman to approve the plat as presented. Roll call vote. Sutherland, Rasmussen, Troutman, Koller, Barrington and Knapp all voting aye. No nays. Motion passed.

Speed Limit Sign:
Motion to install a 25 MPH speed limit sign on Ostrom Ave, South bound traffic and South of Praire Villa Apartment center. Roll call vote. Sutherland, Rasmussen, Troutman, Koller, Barrington and Knapp all voting aye. No nays. Motion passed.

Adjournment: Motion by Troutman and a second to adjourn the meeting.
