Village of Princeville Monday, February 5, 2007 7:30 PM Princeville Village Hall The Village Board met at the above time and place. Police report: Numerous break-ins through out Peoria County had occurred, some in Princeville, and the Police have apprehended and arrested 4 subjects that same morning; A wallet was reported missing; Theft of a Laptop Computer was reported; One ambulance call in which transport was declined; A ticket was issued at Town and Craig Avenues; Two motor vehicle accidents occurred; Driving on a revoked license, resulting in Disorderly Conduct equaled an arrest of an individual and going to jail. Approve minutes of January meetings: Motion by Barrington and a second by Koller to approve the minutes as published. Voice vote. All ayes. No nays. Motion passed. Approve Treasurers report: Motion by Barrington with a second by Rasmussen to approve the Treasurers report as published and place on file. Voice vote. All ayes. No nays. Motion passed. NOTE: Payroll audit by IRS passed. Paying of bills: Motion by Rasmussen with a second by Troutman to pay the bills presented. Roll call vote. Sutherland, Rasmussen, Troutman, Koller, Barrington, Knapp and President Stahl all voting aye. No nays. Motion Passed. Senior Living Center report: The partnership now consists of Andrew Black and Phil Perkins, and they report the status is a “GO” for the project and will be releasing an organizational program and starting date soon. 2006-2007 audit: The village board has agreed to have Gorenz & Associates perform the yearly audit of the village books by a Motion from Sutherland with a second by Koller and a roll call vote; Sutherland, Rasmussen, Troutman, Koller, Barrington, Knapp and President Stahl all voting aye. No nays. Motion passed. The audit will be with the GAZBY 34 standard required by state mandate, and will cost approximately $7200.00. Open burning Ordinance: Motion by Koller with a second by Sutherland to approve the final draft of the ordinance Amending Title IX, Chapter 9.16, Section 9.16.040 of the Village of Princeville Municipal Code Pertaining to Fires; namely Ordinance Number 07-02-01 and with a final reading and passage to be at the February 20, 2007 meeting. Roll call vote. Sutherland, Rasmussen, Troutman, Koller, Barrington and Knapp all voting aye. No nays. Motion passed. Maintenance building update: The building size to be approximately 45’ X 36’ with 2 doors 14’ X 14’ insulated with door openers; the ceiling will have blown in insulation was estimated to cost $45,000.00 to $48,000.00 from Economy Builders and a second cost from Gillum Construction at $31,580.00. A 6” concrete floor would add another $8,000.00. The next step will be to have a Building Variance approved by the Zoning Committee. Committee reports: Property committee reports that the Village Attorney WILL prosecute the Abandon Vehicle and Vehicle Code violations as necessary at a cost of $150.00 each. Supt. of Public Works: Reportedly there was a 48 hour window in the Snow Removal on the December 1st.2006 by FEMA, in which Princeville qualified for $4700.00 assistance return. The final payment on the street sweeper has been made. There will be a water/sewer meeting. Other business: Future plans that need to be addressed in the near future are the Grade and street crown in the area of North Creek Court and north on Town Avenue which is narrow at this time and the possibility of the sewer line to Brockway Estates subdivision.
