Minutes of the Regular Board Meeting
Monday, April 7, 2008 7:30 PM Princeville Village Hall
The Village Board met at the above time and place.
The meeting was called to order by President Stahl at 7:30 PM with the following members answering roll call; Trustees Sutherland, Rasmussen, Troutman, Koller, Barrington and Knapp being present. A quorum was present for the meeting. Notice of the meeting and the agenda was sent and received in a timely manner.
Other staff present was Village Clerk Rasmussen, Sec./Treas. Hofer and Police Officer Fritz. Supt. of Public Works Gardner arrived at 7:50 PM.
Police report: An ambulance call was responded to; A lockout was remedied; vandalism had occurred; There was the report of a suspicious person was unfounded and A bicycle was found.
Approval of minutes: Motion by Knapp and a second by Troutman to approve the minutes as published, of the March board meetings. Voice vote. All ayes. No nays. Motion passed.
Treasurer’s report: Motion by Sutherland and a second by Rasmussen to accept the treasurer’s report and place on file. Voice vote. All ayes. No nays. Motion passed.
Paying of the bills: Motion by Rasmussen and a second by Barrington to pay the bills as presented. Roll call vote. Sutherland, Rasmussen, Troutman, Koller, Barrington and Knapp all voting aye. No nays. Motion passed.
Use of the swimming pool for water aerobics and therapy request: Diane Frye request use of the pool on several evenings a week for her class usage. The pool committee will address this at there April 8th. Meeting and give Ms. Frye of their decision.
CCOP’s: The committee is looking into producing a DVD video of the Village of Princeville, for marketing purposes and business expansion. They meet on April 22, 2008. More later on this along with the cost of producing such a tool. Motion by Sutherland and a second by Barrington for CCOP’s to proceed with this program. Roll call vote. Sutherland, Rasmussen, Koller, Barrington and Knapp all voting aye. No nays. Motion passed. Troutman was absent. Note: this can be TIF I funded. Village Board committee volunteers are Knapp, Sutherland, Barrington and Pres. Stahl.
Committee reports: The Finance committee met and a preliminary budget should be out by the next meeting and approval at the May meeting.
Property committee has advertised the Bids to replace the shelter at Cutters Grove Park in addition to 3 trees at each Cutters Grove and Stevens Square Parks.
The pool committee will meet at 5:00 PM on April 8, 08.
Princeville Little League picks up trash at both parks and did a good job. Thanks to Eric Lane and Ball Players.
Truck parking Ordinance revision: Motion by Koller and second by Rasmussen to table the “not yet ready” ordinance. Voice votes All ayes. No nays. Motion passed.

Supt. of Public Works report: John Tanny is back to work. Estimate for Motor Fuel Tax street repairs is $46,188.00 overall; Chip machine payment $11,120.00; North end of Ostrom Ave to the Museum parking lot $4,000.00. A pick-up truck has been leased by Chad until the new truck arrives, from Wyoming Motors.
Other Business: None.
Adjournment: Motion by Sutherland and a second by Troutman to adjourn the meeting.
President Stahl adjourned the meeting at 8:57 PM.
