Minutes of the Regular Meeting
Monday June 5, 2006 7:30PM

The Princeville Village Board met at the above time and place.
The meeting was called to order by President Stahl at 7:30 PM with the following members answering roll call; Sutherland, Rickey, Rasmussen, Troutman, Koller and Barrington being present. A quorum was present. Notice of the meeting and the agenda was sent and received in a timely manner. Staff present was Sec./Treas. Hofer, Deputy Breitbarth, and Village Clerk Rasmussen. Supt. Of Public Works Gardner arrived at 7:50 PM
Police report:
Deputy Breitbarth reported an arrest for Suspended drivers license and Endangering the life of a child; Criminal damage to property; and an Unregistered address of a registered sex offender had occurred.
Approval of previous minutes:
Motion by Rasmussen and second by Troutman to approve the May minutes with necessary corrections. Voice vote. Motion passed.
Treasurers report:
Motion by Sutherland and second by Barrington to approve the April Treasurers report; the May report is not complete yet. Voice vote. Motion passed. NOTE - the annual audit will be June 23rd.2006.
Paying of the bills:
Motion by Rasmussen with a second by Rickey to pay the bills as presented. Roll call vote.
Sutherland, Rickey, Rasmussen, Troutman, Koller and Barrington answering aye. No nays. Motion passed.
Supt. Of Public Works report:
The swimming pool pump is not working properly, and Johnson Pools will be here to look at it. The culvert on West North St. is to be replaced on Tuesday and Wednesday. The drinking fountain in Cutters Grove Park was dug up for repair. B&H Blacktop is looking at repairing the roadway at 100 W High and South and Walnut Sts. Motion by Koller with a second by Rickey to purchase a Zero Turn Kubota mower from German - Bliss Implement Co. for a cost of $5995.00 and the present tractor mower. Roll call vote; Sutherland, Rickey, Rasmussen, Troutman, Koller and Barrington all voting aye. No nays. Motion passed.
PCA report:
Porta pots will arrive on Sunday Jun 11th. Tents are to be here on Tuesday Jun 13th. The Stage will be brought in on Wednesday Jun 14th.. The car show will be on Main St again this year on Saturday Jun 17th..
Road closure for Heritage Days;
Motion by Barrington with a second by Troutman to close Santa Fe - Spring to North St; Main St.; and around Stevens Park for Heritage Days. Roll call vote. Sutherland, Rickey, Rasmussen, Troutman, Koller and Barrington all voting aye. No nays. Motion passed.
Donation for Heritage Days;
Motion by Barrington with a second by Troutman to donate $5000.00 to PCA for part of the Heritage Days expenses. Roll call vote. Sutherland, Rickey, Rasmussen, Troutman, Koller and Barrington all voting aye. No nays. Motion passed.
Prevailing wage ordinance:
Motion by Sutherland and second by Rasmussen to approve the prevailing wage ordinance for June 2006 - June 2007. Roll call vote. Sutherland, Rickey, Rasmussen, Troutman, Koller and Barrington voting aye. No nays. Motion passed.
Resolution regarding the Building Permits:
Motion by Rasmussen with a second by Koller to approve a resolution #R 06-06-07, the issuing of and amending the zoning use permit #17.08.040. Roll call vote. Sutherland, Rickey, Rasmussen, Troutman, Koller and Barrington all voting aye. No nays. Motion passed.
Approve 2006-2007 tentative budget:
Motion by Barrington and second by Koller to approve the 2006-2007 tentative budgets. Roll call vote. Sutherland, Rickey, Rasmussen, Troutman, Koller and Barrington all voting aye. No nays. Motion passed.
Committee reports:
Pool committee released the employees wage schedule for the year.
Property committee is preparing a list of yards not kept mowed and unlicensed vehicles.
Swimming pool fences:
The information gathered is being sent to the village attorney to draw a swimming pool ordinance to be presented to the board in the near future.
