Village of Princeville Tuesday, September 18, 2007 7:30 PM Princeville Village Hall The Village Board met at the above time and place. Police report: A lock out of a motor vehicle occurred and a medical call was responded too. CCOP report: The signs entering town has several suggestions. The Welker property on S. Tremont has been issued a building permit. And about 50 % of the Abandon vehicles reported have been taken care of. Annexation report: The Violet Woertz property at 20500 N. Town Ave has requested annexation. Motion by Rasmussen and a second by Koller to approve the annexation of the Violet Woertz property at 20500 N Town Ave. Roll call vote. Rasmussen, Troutman, Koller, Barrington and Knapp all voting Aye. No nays. Motion passed. Sutherland was absent from the vote. This property is to be connected to the Village sewer. Water service is already connected. Donation to Lions Candy Day: Motion by Rasmussen with a second by Knapp NOT to donate to the Princeville Lions Club Candy Day fund. Roll call vote. Rasmussen, Troutman, Barrington and Knapp all voting aye. No nays. Motion passed. Koller abstained. Sutherland was absent from the vote. Animal Shelter representative: Lorie, representing the animal shelter was on hand to answer questions of board members about picking up stray cats and dogs, or those running loose and those not having a current rabies tag. The cost to the village for the animal shelter picking up the animals would be in the amount of $4500.00 per year. The Village now picks up the animals and transports them to the shelter for a cost next year of $750.00 plus the employee’s time and expense of the vehicle to take them to Peoria. The exact amount and the change in the animal ordinance are to be considered at the October meeting. Outdoor School Activities/Facilities Committee: A meeting with the high school office will be attended by Trustees Koller and Knapp on Wed, Sept. 26th, at 7:00 PM. Committee report: TIF Revitalization was completed by the Grocery Store (Dye&Remmert) and a check was delivered for the amount of $7500, 00 for their work, now completed. An application from Tom Lose for his 210 S. Walnut Ave. (Coop’s Restaurant) for Awning, Paint and Roof has been sent to the TIF Attorneys for approval. Building permits: Supt. of Public Works: Ameren-Cilco to replace the utility pole which rotted off and fell on East Main St. Other business: None Adjournment: Motion by Koller with a second by Troutman to adjourn the meeting.
